• AGM 2007

  The 2007 AGM was held on Monday 29th October in North Building.
  
  During the formal part of the agenda there were two significant changes in the Officers of the Association. Steve Thwaites stepped down as Chairman after eight years of service of which the last six were as Chairman. The Headmaster expressed the school's gratitude and presented Steve with a gift on behalf of the school. Kathy Jenkins was elected Chairman and presented Steve with a further gift on behalf the PA and parents. Steve will continue to be involved with the RGS through his role on The Foundation.
  
  Carolyn Smith also stepped down as Treasurer and was presented with a bouquet in recognition of her contribution as a committee member and as Treasurer for the last two years. Simon Page was elected Treasurer.
  
  As well as the formal business of the AGM the audience were treated to two presentations. The first was on the exploits of the RumDoodle Society when Blake Shefford and Alex Jackson provided an interesting and entertaining insight into recent trips.
  
  Nicky Wong and Alex Murray-Bruce then described the recent Summer School run for local final-year primary school children. The event was a great success giving much satisfaction and excitement to both pupils and teachers!
