Education and Development
The Parents' Association provides direct financial support to RGS pupils in two ways: firstly, through sponsorship to boys undertaking educational and personal development project whilst at the school or immediately after leaving and secondly through grants to broader school activities or clubs such as music or fencing.
The PA will consider sponsoring suitable projects by providing financial assistance towards the predicted costs. The level of support may be up to 25% of the total cost, to a maximum of £400. The PA is more likely to be supportive if the project includes community gain or benefit, as well as individual development
Students wishing to apply for sponsorship should download and complete the Application Form or obtain a copy from the School Secretary, the Chairman of the Sponsorship sub-committee or the Chairman of the Parents' Association. This form requires countersignature by one member of the school teaching staff who is prepared to support the application
